Prof Christian Harrison

Professor of Leadership, Director of the Centre for Leadership and Empowerment in Greater Manchester, Chair of the Leadership and Leadership Development Special Interest Group of the British Academy of Management and Chair of the Academy for African Studies.

Christian works extensively as a consultant, speaker and trainer on leadership skills development within organisations. He has delivered several CPD sessions on leadership to a range of clients including the Scottish Government Directors, UK Cabinet office staff, NHS, corporate organisations, SMEs. He is the founder of the NGO; The Leadership Mould Initiative International, and the author of the bestselling book entitled ‘Leadership Theory and Research: A Critical Approach to New and Existing Paradigms’ published by Palgrave MacMillan.

Prof Karise Hutchinson

Karise is a Professor of Leadership and the founder of Illuminaire Leadership – a global institute providing high quality, research-led insight to leaders in private, public and third sector organisations. She is an award-winning researcher, author, educator, speaker, and strategic advisor to leaders in government, public and private sector, as well as not-for-profit organisations. 

Whether it is her TED talks or the launch of Illuminaire Press - a unique leadership science, strategy, and story publication series, Karise specialises in uncovering and spreading the very latest leadership thinking. She is motivated her purpose to equip and enable leaders take a deeper look at how they think and practice leadership today, for the sake of tomorrow. Karise lives on the North Coast of Ireland with her husband and four children joining her on her adventure and love of life. 

Prof Jason Clark

As a professor of leadership Jason designed and currently leads the global perspectives Doctor of Leadership for George Fox University with more than two hundred senior leader graduates who are making an impact across the globe.

More recently Jason led the turnaround of Waverley Abbey College, a vocational college training counsellors and chaplains.

Prior to this he was the lead minister of a church in South London. Before that he worked in the city of London as an independent financial client advisor.

About Professor Will Foster

Revd. Professor Will Foster is a leadership consultant, executive coach, and board-level advisor with over 30 years of experience spanning higher education, industry, charities, and faith-based organisations. With a career rooted in authenticity, strategic transformation, and values-led leadership, Will brings a rare depth of insight and impact to every engagement.

He is the co-creator of the global Advance HE ‘Framework for Leading in Higher Education’, which articulates the attributes and dimensions of effective leadership in complex and rapidly changing environments. Will has led strategy, transformation, and cultural change in institutions of every size — from national sector bodies and universities to grassroots community organisations and start-ups.

His career includes senior academic and executive roles — Provost, Dean, and Professor of Leadership — alongside governance and board appointments as Chair, Vice-Chair, and NED. He has designed and led MBA and executive programmes for senior leaders across sectors and continents.

Will combines intellectual rigour with pragmatic wisdom. His clients value his ability to create clarity in complexity, to walk alongside leaders through change, and to hold space for both vision and vulnerability.

He is a published author (Brill, 2024) and former institutional member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. He holds a PhD in Leadership and Organisational Culture, an MBA, and is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Vicky heads up the Spiritual formation side of the organisation (see our sister website www.aparafos.co.uk). Originally training in Theatre Studies and then qualifying as a secondary school teacher, she transformed several drama departments to achieve outstanding results before moving into a ministry focused role where she develops strategy and resources for teaching ministry, organises major events and leads spiritual retreats as well as leading several groups and providing pastoral support.
